Internet Explorer

There is only one item in a work-environment that ticks me off. Having to use Internet Explorer solely, because the software only works with said browser. This is 2011, why are we still being enslaved to such a horrible, out-of-date, non-standards compliant piece of garbage?

It only makes things worse when I look up the company who made the software and see it running in Google Chrome. Sigh. If only we can change some people’s minds when it comes to running SAFE browsers.

When the Fox ate the Internet

Tonight a dear friend had sent me an IM celebrating she has finally made the switch. The switch I made several years and haven’t looked back since! The jump from Internet Explorer to Firefox. That got me to thinking, what does Firefox really have over Internet Explorer 7? (Besides displaying web standards more efficiently!)
