Hi, my name is Brett and I am a late-twenties web designer specializing in professional, clean, usable designs. All my projects include valid xhtml and css according to the W3C.
Web Development Background
I first jumped into web development back in Middle school when I was handed the book “Web Design for Dummies.” This was all new to me, and I soon had a Geocities account for experimentation.
Over the years I dabbled with web design and shoirtly after I graduated high school I landed a great part-time gig, maintaining the website for a local Municipality. It was then I took things serirously and started to branch out from regular html to the more standardized xhtml and css.
Chosen Platform
The last few years I have jumped into more dynamic playing field. and toward the end of 2008 I began a journey getting familiar with a Content Management System known as WordPress. As of today (middle of 2010) my day job revolves around WordPress.
Life Outside Web Design
When I am not behind my computer, I enjoy playing games on my xbox360. I also enjoy quiet evenings just reading books (mostly design-oriented) or listening to music.
I am very involved with a Fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, with my school and helping the web design professor at Lee University.
